Cape Express will be teaming up with Villanova University to sponsor a series of camps this spring and summer. Our DOC Charlie Duccilli will remain involved with the camp along with Villanova coaching staff and players. While it is open to all players from any club or area, the camps are geared toward the travel soccer or the serious recreational player.
Youth Easter Break Spring Camp - April 6 to April 8, 2010, 9 am to 12 pm. Youth players grades K to 8.
The Junior Wildcat Academy (Ages 6-10) is designed for the young, aspiring soccer player. The objective for this group is to appreciate the game and learn in an enthusiastic enviorment. Training will include basic skill development, individual attacking and defending awareness, and general fitness. The coaching staff will be comprised of the Villanova Men’s Soccer Staff/Players and top local college coaches.
The Wildcat Develpment Academy (Ages 11-14) is designed for the young, developing player. In a challenging and fun environment, training will include skill development, small group attacking and defending awareness, plyometrics with speed and agility training. The coaching staff will be comprised of the Villanova Men’s Soccer Staff/Players, and top local college coaches.
Varsity Easter Break Spring Camp - April 7, 2010, 9 am to 3 pm. Varsity players grades 9 to 12. The objective of the Developmental Camp is to provide the committed soccer player with the opportunity to train and be evaluated by the Villanova University coaching staff in a competitive training environment. The six hour session will include technical training, short sided games, and full field scrimmage emphasizing a faster speed of play and a team-style of soccer. Included will be a presentation on the workings of the college soccer recruiting process.
Summer Camp - July 19 to Juyl 22, 2010, full and half day options. Players grade K to 12.

The Wildcat College Prospect Academy (Ages 15-18) is designed for players with high level club experience who want to train in a NCAA Collegiate Soccer environment. Advanced topics include technical functional training, zonal defending with a strong emphasis on the flat back four, tactical attacking schemes, plyometrics with speed and agility training. The coaching staff will be comprised of the Villanova University Men’s Soccer Staff and coaches from other top collegiate programs.
