On-line Cape Express Player Registration
Once asked to be on a team, there are two parts involved in registering for Cape Express. The first part is the on-line Cape Express Soccer Club player registration and payment which can be accessed from the link at the left. This is done by the family of each player. Detailed information about this process is found at that link. This needs to be completed first. When complete, print the receipt you get confirming you have registered, coach needs a copy.
Registration Fees
Youth teams ages U-8 to U-14 individual player fee which includes both Fall and Spring season - $200. For families with more than one child playing in the club in these ages, the first player registered pays $200, subsequent player pay $150. For a player added anytime during the Fall season, the full fees above pertain. For a player added after the completion of the Fall season, the fee is reduced to $125. No other discounts apply.
Varsity teams ages U-15 and above player fee - $150. No multi-player family discounts associated with Varsity team players.
League Registration
The second part is League Registration which involves completing the various forms required by the leagues where we compete. League registration is held once a year on the first Thursday of August in conjunction with the Annual General Meeting. While many coaches may have all the paperwork completed associated with registering their team and players with the SJSL, SJGSL and the State ahead of time, League Registration is the latest this process should be completed by to ensure all administrative items are complete prior to the start of the fall season without creating more work for the coach, the Director of the Boys and/or Girls programs and the State officials charged with processing our paperwork.
Your coach will require the following information to be completed by you for Registration:
A. Completed NJYS Membership form.
B. Completed US Youth Soccer Medical Release form, club will notarize, Notary will be present at League Registration.
C. Copy of receipt from Online Player Registration that shows player has registered. If player was paid for by credit card online, the receipt will note this. If player is being paid for by check, the receipt will note this as well, include check if needed.
D. Signed copy of Cape Express Club Rules.
E. Photocopy of birth certificate, your coach may keep this on file.
F. 1" x 1" color photo of player, small school photo is fine or clip from a "real" photo, no laser prints, no Polaroids.
Once all pertinent forms are completed, all documents must be turned into the CESC Director of Boys or Girls program. The Director and only the Director is able to take the completed packets to the State District Commissioner (DC) for card processing. Any player not paid will not have his/her card taken to the DC and will therefor will not be eligible to play.
