The camping area is just south of Mariner’s Landing Pier, the Pier at Schellenger Ave. with the Ferris Wheel. Refer to the field map. There are no vehicles, cooking or fires allowed on the beach. There is no RV camping permitted either. The camping area is patrolled all night by the Wildwood Police Department. Make sure you read the "Things YOU, YES YOU need to know..." link.
2. FIELD LOCATIONS
Fields will be set up on the north side of Mariner’s Landing Pier between Cedar and Poplar Avenues (north of Mariner’s Landing Pier and south of the old Hunt’s/Dinosaur Beach Pier). They will also be set up on the south side of Mariner’s Landing Pier between Schellenger and Juniper Avenues (south of Mariner’s Landing Pier and north of Adventure Pier).
3. HOTEL/MOTEL INFORMATION
For Hotel/Motel information visit the Greater Wildwood Hotel & Motel Association website www.wildwoods.org and/or call 800-786-4546. They are familiar with the event and can help.
4. PLAYER/ACCEPTABLE ID ISSUES
There is no out of State travel form required. There is no State roster required. There is no such thing as a guest player. You can roster any age/gender appropriate player to your team that you want.
We don’t need your Beach Blast roster until the night of registration. You can therefore make whatever changes you want to add/drop/revise/switch/whatever, we won’t know the difference.
Most players competing in the tournament are carded travel soccer players, we accept cards as proof of age. We also gladly accept copies of birth certificates and photo ID’s from the players that aren’t carded and the adults.
5. SPLITTING INTO TWO TEAMS
Many grass soccer teams split into two beach soccer teams, some split A/B, some split "equally", it’s up to you. Please try to have different people coach each team - the tournament is just too large and splitting into two is too common to be able to accommodate all of the scheduling requests.
6. NUMBER OF PLAYERS ON THE ROSTER
We need to hold to the maximum 10 player roster size. We’ve had past problems with teams/us being yelled at because we’ve allowed an unfair advantage by letting some team have more subs, etc... If we get enough feedback we might institute an only 10 players can suit for any game policy for next year but then we’d need to administer that and you’re also losing the benefit of playing small sided games with lots of touches, no touches if you’re on the sideline. Split into two, bring a "guest" player, bring a cousin.
7. MEDICAL RELEASES
This tournament is independent of USYS and USCS. Therefore, since this event is not sanctioned by those bodies, we can’t accept their medical releases. We need every participant, and/or their guardian, to complete a our Medical Release found on the Registration link and turn it in at Registration.
8. TIMING/ADDING ON
OK, so you have your team but you have no idea if Bill’s dad or Maddie’s little brother is coming and do they want wristbands. Register the team now, you know that you will 10 passes for sure once the team is accepted. You then you have some time to figure all that other stuff out. If you want additional passes, use the link sent in your acceptance email which will take you to the Morey’s Pier site where you can purchase Amusement only passes and BarBQ. Remember, amusement only passes can be added online up to deadline at the normal fee. Additional amusement only bands can be purchased at Registration, Morey’s Piers will be set up for it, however, the prices will be $10 more.

You will be notified by email. You can also check the Accepted Teams link.
10. PACKETS
Packets with wristbands and registration parking ticket will be sent out two weeks ahead of time, you should receive one week prior. All other tournament information is online.
11. SCHEDULES AND SCHEDULING REQUEST.
Schedules will be posted online approximately 1 week prior to tournament. If you have a long way to travel, plan on staying Friday night. Please do not make scheduling requests, while we would like to, the tournament is too big and we just can’t accomodate them - sorry.
12. PARKING
Parking in Wildwood can be a fun challenge; there are numerous lots that you will be able to negotiate overnight/weekend parking, there is metered parking close to the Boardwalk that will require quarter pumping and then there is free street parking some blocks off the Boardwalk; competition, demand and choice - a seminar in free market economics for our soccer playing youth.
13. PATCHES
This is a patch exchange tournament. That being said, some teams coming to the tournament will not have patches. If you have patches, bring them. If you don’t have patches, don’t worry about it. If you play a team without patches, give them yours anyway, then they’ll have some.
14. GROOMING
Cut your toenails, painting optional.
